Cadweb Green Report
This is the live ‘Cadweb Green Report’. This calculates, amongst other pollutant statistics, the amount of Carbon Dioxide that Cadweb.net has saved from its use across all its live projects. The calculator takes standard measurements from the Car Fuel Data Organisation, which is part of the UK government’s Department of Transport. The total tonnage of Carbon Dioxide that would have been emitted, but now has not been because Cadweb.net was used instead of the information being printed and delivered by car, is calculated and published here.

Note
-
An average issue of information contains 6 files.
-
The average distance for a reprographics delivery is 3 Km.
-
All calculations based on the use of a Ford Transit Connect Diesel 1.8 Van travelling one way (It is assumed that the return journey would usually be taken up with another delivery).
-
10% of the information is still printed and delivered.
Emissions figures, formulas, calculations and methodologies are taken from the Vehicle Certification Agency www.vcacarfueldata.org.uk.
