About Us

Cadweb is the leading and most established provider of Project Extranet services in the UK. We have been working to improve the process of information exchange, retrieval and storage on construction projects, known as Document Control or Document Management, since 1995.

During this time Cadweb has evolved from a purely research based, software design and coding, organisation into a provider of all the services required to successfully manage, store and audit the drawings and documents that are generated by the planning, design and construction phases of a construction development project. This Document Management or Document Control system has come to be known as a Project Extranet in the construction industry. Our projects range in size from less than £1m to £1Bn.

With over 12 years of experience in setting up and managing the use of Project Extranets, we have more experience in the successful use of these tools than anyone else in the world. Clients estimate that the full benefits and efficiencies that Cadweb can provide have amounted to more than 5% of the construction cost of a project.

Cadweb's expertise is in the provision of Project Extranets. However, clients are often looking for a solution that spans the entire life cycle of the built asset. To provide a ‘single point of contact’ for all the services required Cadweb has teamed up with the leading players in each of the specific fields. This organisation called IPCRES www.ipcres.com has been formed to provide this ‘Life Cycle’ service. Cadweb is a founder member.
