Cadweb helps Prudential to Gold
January 2007

The enormous success of The Prudential and Capital Shopping Centre’s Arndale Shopping Centre redevelopment was recognised when the scheme was awarded the BCSC Gold Award. Cadweb are proud to have been an integral part of this award-winning project since 2002.

The project, a £150m inner city shopping centre refurbishment finished on time and on budget at the beginning of September this year. Since April 2002, when Cadweb was first activated on this project a total of 248,939 files have been uploaded and sent undercover of 45,049 Issue Sheets. Add to this the 9,419 messages and 1,654 RFIs; all complete with a secure, detailed and reliable project archive, on the one system and in one place.

On average each item was copied to 3.6 other people, generating a staggering figure of 913,895 files issued to and by the project team over the last 53 months. Many benefited further and utilized Cadweb's Intranet system for their own internal project information distribution, storage and management. These statistics show the value of Cadweb.net ‘s document management and control system to every organisation on the project.
