Within the project environment the user can send files or messages, collect them or find any information that they have sent or received in the past.
All information in the project is described in a construction industry standard way - designed to suit the contractual obligations of all project team members.
- Messages have a sender, one or more recipients and a subject.
- Drawings and documents have a title, a number, a revision and what packages it belongs to.
- For every document or drawing there is an "Issue Record" which shows who sent it, when, why it was sent, who to, when they got it and what they have done with it.
- All records are certified true to British Standards for Information Security (ISO 27001). This has the effect of allowing them to be used for contractual purposes - eliminating the need to follow everything up with paper copies in the post.
